Dental Hygiene - You can expect to receive x-rays of all of your teeth. Your teeth are 3-D structures; it is impossible to know what is going on inside of them without x-rays. The hygienist will also measure the pockets of your gum to determine if gum or bone disease are present.
Digital X-Rays - We use computer-generated digital x-rays which reduces your exposure to radiation by almost 90%.
Diagnodent Laser - This laser measures the breakdown in teeth that have not progressed enough to cause pain. This laser gives a visible picture of these problem areas.
Intra-Oral Camera - This camera allows you to see what we see when we look into your mouth.
The Doctor - Dr. Barnett will perform an oral cancer screening with a Velscope laser. This procedure is painless; the laser emits a green light to show abnormal cells that may progress to cancer. He will analyze the data, diagnosis and discuss your dental needs with you, and will design a dental treatment plan that meets your need.
